Does your Bright Creative Child Struggle in School (Holly Springs, Fuquay Varina, Cary, Apex) hide this posting unhide

QR Code Link to This Post Despite their high IQ's and creative talents many students with dyslexia and certain other learning differences are typically one to two years below grade level in reading, despite IEPS, resources classes, phonics programs and private tutoring, and still struggle every year in school.

The success of remedial programs is impeded when basic visual skills (tracking), and perceptual skills (visual motor, long and short-term memory, auditory and cognitive information processing skills) are reduced.
These students require specialized, research-based, Orton Gillingham multi -sensory reading, decoding and spelling instruction designed specifically for the way they learn.

My goal for each student is to enhance his/her learning skills, improve upon weaknesses, and provide strong visual, auditory and kinesthetic skills necessary for efficient learning. My training in visual/perceptual therapy, visual information processing skills programs, specialized reading improvement programs, cognitive skills improvement techniques, memory improvement exercise and sensory integration therapies allows me to develop a plan and program that matches each student's unique learning needs and abilities.

All programs are individually designed to suite the students learning style and exercises are instructed to be practiced at home to enhance progress during the academic year.

If you are not sure whether or not your child suffers from a reading disorder, dyslexia, a learning disability or a visual perceptual problem, call for a free phone consultation to discuss your child's needs and my unique special services.
